It will be up to instructional designers and educational technologies to make the most of the opportunities provided by technology to change education so that effective and efficient education is available to everyone everywhere.
Today, we see students using their tablets, laptops and in some cases phones to help understand the material better. Technology has made a positive contribution to the learning of students by allowing them to use apps to become more creative, enable them to learn to collaborate and permit them to use technology to enrich their knowledge.
There are many positive things that technology has on students. For example:
- it prepares them for the future.
- it motivates children to learn.
-Children find it interesting and fun because they see it as playing a game.
Lastly, technology exposes children to different learning experiences. While using technology, children can be exposed to videos, chats, blogs, images, presentations, webcams etc. All of these things can be accessed thanks to technology. Technology allows children to interact with different methods of learning and find it more interesting.
